Copan Public School’s 2017 Bond Issue (it had been a long time since a bond issue was passed) needed to touch a lot of areas. We constructed a 5,000 sf locker/training room for use by the football and softball teams with load bearing masonry and trusses. The existing basketball locker got a much needed remodel including mechanical and electrical systems. The gym needed an expanded concession space and gathering area which a small addition provided. The final project was an upgrade to the science room including new millwork, fume hood, acid cabinets, flooring and ceiling.
STOUTS’s role as Construction Manager was instrumental in maintaining a tight budge with a long list of needs.
